The Lavin Entrepreneur Program has some amazing benefits and support for SDSU students selected to be in the program. In addition to cohort courses and personal mentorship, check out the additional programs and support that will benefit you in your startup endeavors.
The Law Clinic is an opportunity for entrepreneurship students currently working on a company to sit down with a practicing attorney regarding their business projects, and do it for free! The Lavin Entrepreneurship Center is partnered with Duane Morris and the University of San Diego to provide legal assistance for students and their startup businesses who are eligible. To participate, please submit an application that you can find on the LEAP program page.
The Lavin Mentor Program is a special addition to some of the resources Lavin students receive. In this 2 year commitment, students are matched with an entrepreneur who expresses interest in mentoring. Lavin students and Lavin mentors can spend time together in many ways to help identify needs and opportunities to support early stage new business ideas.
Each mentor and student will likely have unique ideas as how to spend time together sharing knowledge from academic, work experience and networking relationships. From traditional one-on-one talks to attending networking events together, the mentor-mentee relationship can take many forms. Please see the Mentor / Mentee manuals below to learn more about what it offers.
