2026 CEEC Entrepreneurship Research and Pedagogy Keynote Speakers

Dr. Roy Suddaby
Dr. Roy Suddaby is the Winspear Chair of Management at the Peter B. Gustavson School of Business, University of Victoria, Canada. He is an internationally regarded scholar of organizational theory and institutional change. His work focuses on the critical role of symbolic resources - legitimacy, authenticity, status, identity, and history - in management, organizations and entrepreneurial ventures. He is the past editor of the Academy of Management Review and is currently an Associate Editor of the Academy of Management Collections and the Human Resources Management Journal.

Dr. Jeffrey S. Hornsby
Dr. Jeffrey S. Hornsby is the Henry W. Bloch/Missouri Endowed Chair of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the University of Missouri–Kansas City (UMKC), where he also serves as Director of the Regnier Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation and Chair of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Management.
A nationally recognized leader in entrepreneurship education, Dr. Hornsby has helped build and expand programs at Ball State University, Kansas State University, and UMKC. Across his leadership roles, he has secured more than $19 million in external funding to advance entrepreneurship education and innovation initiatives.
Dr. Hornsby is a highly accomplished scholar, with nearly 200 refereed journal articles and conference proceedings and eight books. His work appears in leading journals including Journal of Business Venturing, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, and Strategic Management Journal. His research on corporate entrepreneurship and intrapreneurship has significantly shaped understanding of how organizations foster innovation.
He is the recipient of numerous honors, including the Max S. Wortman Jr. Lifetime Achievement Award (USASBE, 2026), the Entrepreneurship Legacy Award (GCEC, 2024), and the Karl Vesper Pioneer Award (2022).

- November 14, 2025 – Presentation proposals due (Research & Pedagogy/Experiential – Presentation Sessions)
- December 2025 - CEEC 2026 registration website opens.
- February 27, 2026 – Roundtable proposals due (Research & Pedagogy/Experiential – Roundtable Discussion Sessions)
- April 15th to 18th, 2026 - CEEC 2026 pre-conference event and presentation sessions
2026 CEEC Entrepreneurship Research and Pedagogy Conference Registration Fees
All participants are required to register for the conference. Main conference registration fee includes the welcome reception on April 15, breakfast, lunch, and coffee on April 17 and 18, and the evening reception on April 17. Participants must register for the main conference to participate in the pre-conference event
