Pre-Conference Baja Experience

We hope you join us for one of our incredible pre-conference options for the 9th annual California Entrepreneurship Educators Conference, the Baja Experience. During this incredible day-long trip, we will explore the entrepreneurship scene in Mexico, hear the entrepreneurial journeys of several accomplished speakers, enjoy wine tastings/pairings at incredible family-owned wineries and eat amazing food on the waterfront as we enjoy a beautiful sunset. 

We will start the day by meeting at San Diego State University (further details will be provided to attendees upon registration), where we will board a sprint van and head to cross the border (participants will need to have their passports with them). 

Our first stop will be at the top of a beautiful highrise in Tijuana called “Club de Empresarios” (“Entrepreneur’s Club”) where we will have a light breakfast and hear from several accomplished entrepreneurs based in Mexico. From there, we will go to our first winery, “La Carodilla” where we will enjoy an amazing wine tasting in the beautiful wine country. Then, we will enjoy lunch and wine pairings at a second incredible winery, “Solar Fortun”, owned and operated by a successful husband and wife team of entrepreneurs. Finally, we will end the day at “Splash” a beautiful, beachfront restaurant where we will all watch the sunset and enjoy drinks and food until we board the bus and return back to San Diego later that evening. 

We hope you join us for this amazing, cross-border experience followed up by two days of enriching conferencing on-campus on the beautiful San Diego State University Alumni Center.
