Travel Information Overview

Thank you for choosing to attend the 2019 California Entrepreneurship Educators Conference. You will find information below concerning room reservations and transportation.

Conference Dates: April 11th-13th 2019

If you prefer to stay close to the San Diego State University campus we recommend the San Diego Marriott Mission Valley. The Marriott Mission Valley has put rooms on hold for us for Wednesday, April 10th through Sunday, April 14th. Information is provided below.

RESERVATIONS BY ATTENDEES MUST BE RECEIVED ON MARCH 12th 2019

Downtown

After March 12th, the group rate will no longer be available and the rate will be based on the hotel’s availability at that time. Overnight self-parking is available at the hotel for $25 and valet parking is available for $35 per night. The conference will offer a secure area to hold your luggage. Reservations for the event will be made by individual attendees directly with the San Diego Marriott Mission Valley toll free at 1-800-842-5329.

DIRECTIONS FROM THE AIRPORT:

Hotel direction: 9 miles North Driving Directions: Get on I-5 N from N Harbor Dr. and India St. Continue on I-5 N. Take I-8 E to Qualcomm Way in Mission Valley. Take the Qualcomm Way exit from I-8 E. Merge onto Qualcomm Way. San Diego Marriott Mission Valley located on the right at 8757 Rio San Diego Dr., San Diego, CA 92108.

TAXIS:

Yellow Cab of San Diego can service your transportation needs while staying in the Sans-SeriDiego area. Yellow Cab’s phone number is (619) 444-4444. You can also view their website for additional information.

TROLLEY

San Diego has a great trolley system for only $5 a day. In order to get to SDSU from the Marriott Mission Valley, you will need to take the Green Line from the Rio Vista station. Please arrive at the trolley stop by 7:15am in order to get to SDSU by 7:30am on both days.
