California Entrepreneurship Educators Pre-Conference

Incubators: Useful and Needed or Money Pit?
Pre-Conference Information

Dates: March 10, 2016
Location: San Diego State University

Join us for a special pre-conference discussion where we examine the pros and cons of university incubators. Some of the key questions we will be discussing include:

  • Incubator Funding: How do we do it the right way?
  • Do we need a physical incubator space?
  • How do we measure incubator success?
  • Is it better to have a stand-alone incubator or one that is integrated into the campus?

Incubators: Useful and Needed or Money Pit? features the following panelists:

Olli Vuola

Olli Vuola Head of Aalto Ventures Program and Executive in Residence Aalto University, Helsinki Finland.

Jonathan York

Jonathan York Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship in the Orfalea College of Business at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and co-founder of the Cal Poly Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
