Start-up at State is a program at San Diego State University that helps build bridges between students on the campus and entrepreneurs in the community. San Diego has a sustainable ecosystem that fuels entrepreneurship within the region, making San Diego a hub for entrepreneurship. San Diego was recently named the best city to start a business in 2014. The strength of this ecosystem relies on the continuation of innovation and the development of deeper networks within the community. The Lavin Entrepreneurship Center, the Entrepreneur Society and Startup Circle are supporting this ecosystem by developing opportunities to connect students with local start-ups by bringing them to campus through the Start-up @ State event.
