Alumni Spotlight

Andre Cooper

Andre Cooper is part of a group that started Deuce Brand, an action-sports company specializing in sports watches. While enrolled in the SDSU College of Business Administration as a marketing major in 2009, Cooper helped launch Deuce Brand with three friends to create a brand celebrating their love for athletics and fashion. Together they began selling colorful and stylish watches made from surgical silicone. Cooper continued to grow the company and assumed the role of director of athletic accounts. The Deuce Brand product line of watches, designed for athletes and sports enthusiasts, has since expanded to include a variety of colors and team logos from the NBA, WNBA, and NCAA. The brand is endorsed by athletes such as Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stevie Johnson, streetball player Grayson Boucher, and surfer Eric Silverman. Deuce Brand watches are sold in major retailers like Sun Diego Boardshops, Urban Outfitters, and Dick's Sporting Goods as well as the SDSU campus bookstore, and are also distributed internationally in nine different countries.
