Bob Greenstone, SDSU '78

Throughout his career, Bob Greenstone worked in the garment industry, had a record deal in his teens, started and sold a successful automotive retail chain, built one of the most respected retail media and marketing consulting firms, became the leading local cable media buyer for 30-minute infomercial time nationwide and continues to develop proprietary tools for use by thousands of merchants. In the midst of these accomplishments, Greenstone decided to pursue his MBA at San Diego State University. He completed the program in 1978 and has since become the Chief Executive Officer of Permission Interactive which is a $30 million, sales online marketing technology company. Permission Interactive, Inc. develops tools for ecommerce marketers to increase conversion rates and average sales. Permission Interactive is now the largest online seller of As Seen On TV products, operates websites for many of the popular products seen on TV and has developed successful products of its own that it markets on TV.
