You did it! The end of the semester is quickly approaching. You can almost smell the homemade meals and can feel all the winter cheer. As you take the next couple of weeks off from school, think about where you are in life and where you would like to be. How can you take this time of goodwill, joy, gratitude, and relaxation, and use these positive roots to develop yourself? Take this break to explore what you want and how you can reach your entrepreneurial dreams!
We’ve Got a New Look!!
We are very pleased to announce that we will now be called the Lavin Entrepreneurship Center! Dr. Leonard Lavin, founder of the Alberto Culver Company, has made a very generous donation to support SDSU Student Entrepreneurs! Already a benefactor to Lavin VentureStart, Dr. Lavin’s gift will allow us to create even more comprehensive programs and expand our entrepreneurship mentorship capabilities. Look for a revitalized center and our new name. The Lavin Entrepreneurship Center is here to help you!
Entrepreneur Day is Approaching
This competition will take place on March 14 and 15, 2013. Rather than focusing on creating a hypothetical business plan, this dynamic competition directs students’ efforts toward a realistic model, based on factual information. It challenges competitors to obtain consumer feedback and “pivot” in the right direction. Think you have what it takes? Click here for more information on LeanModel.
