We are looking for graphic designers, computer programmers, and undergraduate and graduate students with financial, marketing, or communication skills! Lavin Entrepreneur program

The Lavin Entrepreneur program may be perfect for you! This is a two year program worth one credit. Graduates of this program learn how to identify and evaluate new business opportunities, understand the roles and responsibilities of an entrepreneur and how to marshal and deploy resources in order to launch and build new ventures.Please visit the website for more information and submit your application.


LeanModel business competition
March 14-15 marks the Lavin Center's first LeanModel business competition. Teams from 20 schools from around California will be competing for over $20,000 in prizes. The winner of the competition best represents the LeanModel core values and best exemplifies a prototype to development ideal. Check out these unique and talented students at the website.

Start up @State - April 15, 2013: Get ready for the spring semester’s Start-Up @State! The event will host a panel of San Diego entrepreneurs providing students the opportunity to interact directly with the entrepreneurs through the question and answer format. Following the panel of speakers, students can go to the Alumni Center where fifty San Diego start-ups will be looking for students to hire. The event starts at 4:00pm Check out the website for more information.

L. Robert Payne Speaker Series – April 29, 2013: This year the speaker is Jeff Church from NIKA water, a unique social entrepreneurship company that donates 100% of its profits to benefit sanitation and water needs in third world countries. The event allows students the opportunity to interact with an influential entrepreneur. It will take place at the Ron Fowler Athletics Auditorium at 4:00pm. Visit here for more information.

The Lavin Entrepreneurship Center at San Diego State University serves SDSU students, entrepreneurs and business leaders through entrepreneurial curriculum, workshops, internships, resources and events.
