Three Entrepreneurs, 180 Students

California Conference

We held our fall LaunchIn event on October 20th. LaunchIn is an interactive panel designed to get students closer to entrepreneurs in an intimate setting. Over 180 students from across the campus took advantage of the opportunity to ask any question they had about starting a company to our panel of three successful entrepreneurs.

Our panel consisted of Lance Hoffman, co-founder of Mamma Chia; Nicke Rhea, founder of Lunatec Gear; and Christopher Lynch, co-founder of Everyday California. Mamma Chia is an organic natural food and beverage company that started in San Diego and is currently sold across the US in retail stores. Lunatec Gear sells innovative, practical gear for outdoor enthusiasts. Everyday California is a lifestyle company that embodies the essence of California through watersports and apparel. It was an honor to have these three panelists come connect with, and inspire, our students toward building their own start-up.
