Kuntara Pukthuanthong

Kuntara Dr. Pukthuanthong is an Associate Professor of Finance at San Diego State University (SDSU) College of Business Administration. Dr. Pukthuanthong received her PhD in Finance from University of California, Irvine. In addition, she served as a Lamfalussy Fellow at the European Central Bank in 2010 and as a Professor-in-Residence at Research Affiliates in Newport Beach, California. Dr. Pukahuanthong is interested in entrepreneurial and international finance. She currently teaches the undergraduate course in Entrepreneurial Finance.

Dr. Pukthuanthong is active in research and currently is exploring issues within entrepreneurial finance, valuation, international finance, and asset pricing. She has published various articles in established journals including: the Journal of Financial Economics, Journal of Financial Markets, Journal of Corporate Finance, Financial Review, Economic Note, Pacific Basin Finance Journal, Applied Financial Economics, Financial Analysts Journal, Journal of Investment Management, Journal of Portfolio Management, Global Finance Journal, and Venture Capital Journal.
