Jay Kunin

Jay Jay Kunin, a lecturer at San Diego State University's (SDSU) College and Business Administration, teaches the undergraduate course Strategic Management of Technology and Innovation. Mr. Kunin has also taught at several different programs including MIT's EECS department, the University of Denver's Business School, and at UCSD Extension.

In addition to his teaching experience, Mr. Kunin has had a 30-year career as an entrepreneur, executive, consultant and investor. He has fulfilled several leadership roles on different boards including: the Board of Directors of the San Diego Tech Coast Angels; the Boards of Directors of numerous privately-funded entrepreneurial firms; the founding Board of Directors of the Life Sciences I.T. Global Institute; and the Advisory Board of the ITT Technical Institute's School of Business. Mr. Kunin has also helped start and grow several software and engineering based companies. Currently, he is involved with consulting in management, financing, and business development for technology based companies that are focused on medical and pharmaceutical Information Technology and regulatory compliance.
