Chris Mizer

Chris Chris Mizer is a life sciences entrepreneur and investor with expertise in building companies, attracting funding, attaining profitability, and enabling successful exit strategies. Thus far he has founded two life science venture capital firms. Mr. Mizer is sole founder and CEO of Vivaris, Ltd. and was co-founder of ChinaBio Capital Partners. Prior to starting these two companies, Mr. Mizer was an investment banker with Key Capital Markets and a consultant with Ernst and Young. Prior to teaching at SDSU, he received his M.S. in Biology and M.B.A. from Case Western Reserve University. From his investing experience in corporate and private entrepreneurship, Mr. Mizer brings students a well-rounded perspective on financing and sustaining an emerging firm.
